We went to Kelly Lane's neighborhood café in Lawrenceville, Coca Café, for the backdrop of this spread - a location with food as unique, sophisticated and unassuming as the looks we featured.
Kelly Lane creates bold compositions of color, print and line to form sophisticated silhouettes that are as flattering as they are wearable. Each collection is carefully crafted from eco-friendly fabrics and ethicially produced by a family-run business in New York's garment district.
The 2011 Fall/Winter line is inspired by a memory of a once-in-a-lifetime glimpse of Halley's Comet. The collection imbues an effortlessly sophisticated palette, using tones that range from the ruddy textures of a lunar landscape to the blinding center of a vibrant supernova.
