What do men think of women’s fashion trends?

We here at EEFM are loving the masculine fashion trend; it is modern and can be chic with heels or just cozy and boyfriend-inspired. Pieces like military-type jackets, oversized trench coats, combat boots, vests and ties are popping up everywhere to give women a hint of masculinity. I love seeing combat boots to juxtapose a little lace top or to cold-weatherize a summer dress. It’s fun to change up a normally feminine outfit with some edge.

This trend really made me wonder… What do the men folk think about this fashion trend woman have been taking on recently? Well, ladies, my poll has once again given us an answer. But this time the men are saying "no" to the masculine fashion trend. Turns out that 66% of the men who voted were not a fan of it. A majority of our voters may not think this trend is a sexy one, but some do! And it’s certainly okay to turn our ear away from what men think and rock it out anyway. This is my advice: if it looks good on you and makes you feel good, too, then go for it.

The boyfriend-inspired look: Loose jeans, long cardigan, wool blazer and a fedora come together for a relaxed but stylish outfit. A cute patterned button-up men's shirt can be very cute paired with a wide belt, cuffed jeans and some funky flats or spectators. A large men's dress shirt that hangs nicely with a skinny belt and some skinny jeans can be cool and chic with some heels.

Love ties! Pair a crisp white blouse with a vest, tie and make sure it doesn't look like a uniform by leaving the vest open, roll up the sleeves, and pair with boots and jeans. This may not be all that masculine, but as long as the vest trend remains, I'm happy. Layers for fall and a skirt-boot combo is always a good way to go.
